Job Overview
As a Night Hygiene Operative with 2 Sisters, you will be responsible for maintaining high hygiene standards during the night shift.
Location: Scunthorpe site, a whole bird processing facility.
Responsibilities
- Follow Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines, looking after yourself and your colleagues.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow set standard operating procedures.
- Work as part of a team.
- Operate in accordance with cleaning schedules and ensure customer specifications are met.
- Ensure micro swabbing pass rates are above acceptable level.
- Complete daily hygiene control sheets and any relevant corrective action within agreed timescales.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure water usage is kept to a minimum and chemicals are used at the correct concentration.
- Work permanent nights, with a shift pattern of 22:00‑06:00, Monday to Friday.
- Read and understand written English to follow instructions on chemical usage.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- Experience as a Hygiene Operative in a food manufacturing environment, while not essential, is desirable.
- Honesty and openness in communication.
- Reliability – attend all allocated shifts.
- Flexibility – overtime and duty changes may be required.
- Teamwork – support colleagues and management.
- Strong work ethic – maintain speed and quality in a fast‑paced environment.
