Ashberry Recruitment are currently looking for Casual Housing Night Support Workers to work in the Chester‑Le‑Street area, on an ongoing basis.

As a Housing Night Support Worker, you will be providing resettlement support to clients within a hostel environment.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out a client needs and risk assessment for all referrals
  • Support tenants through individual resettlement support plans
  • Ensure clients comply with their tenancy agreement
  • Support clients with welfare rights, budgeting, employment, education and training
  • Develop links with the local community
  • Ensure communication systems are accurately maintained and up‑to‑date
  • Maintain Health and Safety incident and accident records
  • Be aware of and work within agreed organisation policies and procedures
Requirements for the role
  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Proven track record of providing information, advice and guidance to clients
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic IT suitable for an office environment
  • Knowledge of basic housing management tasks, e.g., rent collection, tenancy agreements and arrears management
