Job summary

HCA UK is seeking a Night Housekeeping Assistant for St Paul’s Outpatients, with duties across London Bridge Hospital campuses when required. The brand-new outpatient facility is due to open in early 2027, offering an excellent development environment within the UK’s leading private hospital family.

You will maintain cleanliness in clinical and non-clinical areas, handle cleaning materials safely, and support waste and linen services as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, domestic, hospitality or cleaning experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Flexible across a 7-day service.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Ensure patient, staff and visitor areas are clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
• Safely handle cleaning materials and equipment in line with infection prevention and health and safety standards.
• Support waste management and linen services as required.
• Respond promptly to ad hoc cleaning requests and service priorities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Hotel Services departments to deliver an exceptional patient environment.

Bringing together GP services, specialist outpatient care and advanced diagnostics, including MRI, ultrasound, X-ray and mammography, the centre has been designed to deliver a seamless experience for patients and colleagues alike. As one of the first colleagues to join this new facility, you'll play a key role in helping establish and maintain the exceptional standards our patients and visitors expect while benefiting from the support, development opportunities and expertise that come with working for the UK's most renowned family of private hospitals.As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.
