Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Health Care Assistant for Springfield Vale in Barnsley (S70 6HD). This night role supports adults with complex care needs, promoting dignity and independence, and maintaining high-quality records.

You’ll join a brand-new team in a state-of-the-art home and receive induction, training and ongoing support. Experience isn’t essential; compassion, resilience and a positive, can-do attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; care-related qualifications are not essential.
• You are caring, kind, understanding and calm.
• A positive, can-do attitude and good listening skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Support people with their personal care on a daily basis.
• Assist residents at meal times and monitor wellbeing.
• Understand individual health and wellbeing needs.
• Encourage participation in social activities inside and outside the home.
• Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect.
• Complete and maintain care records.
