Job summary

Savills Company is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant – Nights to join the Environnmental Services team. The role involves deep cleaning the centre during out-of-hours, operating cleaning equipment after training, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will work a 4-on 4-off pattern from 5am, with a night allowance applicable. The position is a fixed-term contract running until 31 January 2027, with a focus on delivering excellent service while adhering to COSHH

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Flexible, committed and with attention to detail.
• Desirable: BICS training and NVQ level 1 cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a deep clean of the centre during out of hours.
• Operate cleaning machines after training such as scrubber/dryer and vacuum cleaners.
• Ensure waste is disposed of properly and bins are cleaned.
• Maintain sanitary areas and replenish supplies as required.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures including HASAWA and COSHH.
• Deliver world class customer service to visitors and colleagues.
• Identify hazards and take corrective actions.
