Night Duty Manager - Hull

Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: 5 over 7 nights on a rota basis
Location: Hull

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Night Duty Manager to join our team in Hull. This is a key leadership role, ensuring the smooth running of operations during night shifts while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise team rotas, handle staff issues, and authorise holidays and sick leave
  • Interview, hire, and train new employees
  • Evaluate employee performance, providing coaching and guidance where needed
  • Manage department-specific initiatives to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget
  • Provide support across departments and cover for absent staff when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
  • Maintain a consistent, high standard of customer service
  • Drive marketing initiatives and promote special offers to staff and customers
  • Stay informed on market trends to support purchase and inventory decisions
  • Report any HSE hazards, incidents, or illnesses to your line manager promptly
  • Correctly use all work equipment and PPE in accordance with training and safety guidelines
  • Prepare, produce, and serve food to the site’s brand standards as required
  • Collaborate positively with colleagues and assist with additional duties as needed
