Job summary

Smiths News is recruiting a Deputy Depot Night Manager to oversee one of the depot night-shift operations and report to the Depot Manager. You will ensure timely delivery of newspapers and magazines to retailers, manage staff, and provide clear performance reports.

You will build strong relationships with the management team, maintain health and safety standards, and ensure compliance with all policies while working within the annual budget and forecast.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse management role.
• Experience managing a large operation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to plan and operate night shifts.
• Excellent numerical and budget awareness.
