Night Concierge. uhaus

Hourly Rate: £13

Contract: Permanent, 27 hours per week

Working Hours: 9pm – 6am, preferred days of work - Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Spaces are created to transform work/life balance and our services take care of the finer details, so residents enjoy more of each day effortlessly. We’re looking for our next Night Concierge to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our residents whilst ensuring the upkeep of our premium site & facilities are maintained at the highest standards throughout the night.

Our Night Concierge

Provide an exceptional & personalised service to residents by anticipating and delivering to their needs; offering information on local attractions, and handling enquiries with a focus on creating a seamless and positive experience:

  • Front of House / Reception; greet and welcome residents and guests with a warm, friendly and vibrant attitude.
  • Maintain the upkeep of our premium site & facilities; communal areas must be cleaned and maintained to a high standard. – Cleaning will account for a significant period of the Night Concierge duties.
  • Conduct block walks every 4-6 hours surveying and reporting every area of the building.
  • Maintain waste management areas adhering to health & safety regulations, ensuring potential hazards are addressed / cleaned / tidied / reorganised as required.
  • Manage & store parcels correctly to allow residents to easily access deliveries as required.
  • Be the main point of contact for any potential incident or emergency that may occur onsite.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Manage room turn arounds, check-in and check-outs.
  • Be on hand for questions which may arise.
  • Ensure our facilities are being looked after respectfully by residents & guests.
  • Be on hand, delivering solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
  • Replenish refreshment stock, such as coffee beans, tea bags, milk and vending machine products.

Professional Experience
  • An experienced customer service professional, well-versed in delivering premium experiences to residents & guests.
  • Previous Concierge experience would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience of working independently through the night would be helpful.
  • We’re not looking for professional cleaners, but need people who can demonstrate a hands‑on, proactive approach to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of communal areas.
  • Our operations run seamlessly with the support of a variety of technology systems and software; our Night Concierge must be technologically astute.

  • Excellent communication skills. English will be the primary spoken language; however multi-lingual skills would be warmly welcomed.

  • Able to carry out tasks that may involve extended periods of standing and repetitive movements, with reasonable adjustments considered where required.
  • Flexibility: Our facilities are open to residents 24 hours a day, 356 days a year including all bank holidays, festive & religious breaks. Where festive and religious celebrations require time off, we will always try to accommodate, however flexibility from our Night Concierge is imperative to be available as required to ensure continuous service to residents.
