Job summary

Care Concern Group Limited's Rubislaw Park Care Home in Aberdeen’s West End is seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN to support the Home Manager and lead its clinical team. You will ensure high standards of care, oversee medication management and clinical practice, and mentor staff while coordinating with residents, families and multidisciplinary colleagues.

This senior role includes funded development with clear progression into Deputy Manager and Home Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams, ensuring care is delivered in line with individual care plans, best practice and regulatory standards.
• Oversee clinical practice, support complex decision making, monitor outcomes and ensure safe medication management and effective care delivery.
• Work closely with residents, families and multi disciplinary teams, promoting a person centred approach and driving continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop staff, ensuring a confident, capable and well supported team.

Job description

We are an award-winning care home and nursing facility, based in Aberdeen’s West End. We deliver exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care for up to 86-residents.

Clinical Lead Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £23.00 per hour
• Contracted to 46 hours per week
• Paid PVG, Paid NMC, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear progression into Deputy Manager and Home Manager roles, within a well led, structured environment where your leadership and clinical expertise are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will support the Home Manager in the clinical and operational oversight of the service, ensuring high standards of care are delivered consistently and safely. This is a senior nursing role where your clinical expertise and leadership will directly influence the quality, safety and effectiveness of care across the home.

You will provide clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams, ensuring care is delivered in line with individual care plans, best practice and regulatory standards. You will oversee clinical practice, support complex decision making, monitor outcomes and ensure safe medication management and effective care delivery at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and multi disciplinary teams, you will promote a person centred approach while driving continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in supporting, mentoring and developing staff, ensuring a confident, capable and well supported team.
