Job summary

ABM UK is seeking experienced cleaning operatives for a night shift role at a Bournemouth site. The position runs 21:00–06:00, 40 hours per week, with a pay rate of £13.76 per hour and ABM uniform provided.

You will work under the night manager or supervisor to maintain cleanliness across washrooms, floors, kitchens, seating areas, and common spaces, including reception and lifts. Applicants should have prior cleaning experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must be able to use a radio for communication.

Responsibilities

• Washrooms, toilets, showers, and top up consumables.
• Hard floor cleaning and spot cleaning; clean spillages.
• Carpet spot cleaning and vacuuming.
• Clean kitchenettes, seating areas and restaurant tables.
• Manage reception, lifts, entrance doors and general areas.
• Dust all corridors, stairs, meeting rooms and offices.
• Touch point cleaning and laundry duties as required.
• Scrub hard floors with rotary machine or scrubber dryer.
• Carpet cleaning with carpet machine.
