Job summary

Hotel du Vin Wimbledon is hiring a Night Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our public areas, corridors, lounges and meeting rooms during overnight hours. You will work as part of our Reception and Nights team to ensure spaces are welcoming and prepared for the day ahead.

This hands-on overnight role is independent, physically active, and demands attention to detail; full training is provided with opportunities to progress into supervisory positions in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred; training provided.
• Able to work overnight independently.
• Experience with night shifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, corridors, lounges and meeting rooms.
• Ensure guest facing areas meet Hotel du Vin brand standards.
• Complete overnight cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks.
• Support the Nights Team in keeping a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Provide a friendly greeting to guests during your shift.

Night Cleaner - Hotel du Vin Wimbledon

Rate of Pay: £13.01 per hour plus TRONC (service charge)
Contract: Permanent, 30 hours per week

At Hotel du Vin, we believe that exceptional guest experiences are built on attention to detail. As a Night Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our hotel is presented to the highest standards, ready to welcome guests each morning.

Working overnight as part of our Reception and Nights team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel's public areas, meeting spaces and guest-facing facilities while the hotel sleeps.

The Role

This is a hands on overnight position where you'll work independently to ensure our public areas are clean, welcoming and prepared for the day ahead. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining public areas, corridors, lounges and meeting rooms
• Ensuring all guest facing areas meet Hotel du Vin brand standards
• Completing overnight cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks
• Supporting the Nights Team in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Providing a friendly greeting to any guests you encounter during your shift

No two nights are the same, but your attention to detail will help create the memorable experiences our guests expect from Hotel du Vin.

About You

• You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering high standards.
• You enjoy keeping busy and are motivated by seeing the results of your work.
• You're comfortable working independently during overnight shifts.
• This is a physically active role, so you'll be able to meet the demands of lifting, moving and cleaning throughout your shift.
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
• Experience of regular night shift working is preferred.
