Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Night Driver to join our Bilston area team. This is long-term ongoing work with flexible shifts and real chances of permanent employment, in a well‑established logistics operation.

You'll deliver nationwide, manage trunking and RDC deliveries, complete paperwork accurately, and use electronic POD systems. PAYE rates are £18.00–£22.41 per hour with optional rolled-up holiday pay and overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete 1–3 deliveries or trunk runs per shift.
• Deliver goods to RDCs and distribution centres nationwide.
• Carry out local and national trunking work.
• Use an electric pump truck when required.
• Complete accurate delivery paperwork and POD records.
• Use electronic proof of delivery systems.
• Conduct vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with driving legislation and company procedures.
• Provide a professional service at collection and delivery points.
