Woodlands Care Home in Aberdeen, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Charge Nurse (RGN or RMN) to lead clinical and operational delivery on shifts, overseeing medications and care plans for 81 residents.
This senior role requires strong leadership, team supervision, and the ability to manage a shift independently, with progression toward Clinical Lead and Management roles. Benefits include pension, PVG/NMC, and 5.6 weeks annual leave.

As Charge Nurse, you will take overall responsibility for the clinical and operational delivery of care during your shift, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times. This is a senior role where your leadership, clinical expertise and decision making will directly influence the quality and safety of care across the service.
You will lead and coordinate the team, oversee clinical practice, manage medication processes and ensure care is delivered in line with individual care plans, regulatory standards and best practice. You will take accountability for clinical decisions, respond to changes in condition and ensure continuity of care across the home.
Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will support staff development, promote good practice and contribute to a well organised, professional and supportive environment. You will take charge of the service out of hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, ensuring safe and effective operation at all times.
