Job summary

A local support agency in North East England seeks temporary support staff to work night shifts, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young clients affected by homelessness. Responsibilities include leading support plans, collaborating with agencies, and maintaining records. Candidates should have experience working with vulnerable individuals. The role requires a commitment to client involvement and a secure environment. This position offers 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, initially for 2 - 3 months, with the potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or those affected by homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all clients.
• Act as key worker for a caseload of up to 5 clients.
• Provide personalised, flexible and creative support.
• Collaborate with external agencies to support clients.
• Support clients to access Education and Training opportunities.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Assist in coordinating and supporting volunteers.
• Maintain clear and accurate records.
• Manage the security of the building.
