Vacancy Location: Ty Cwm Gwendraeth, Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU

Shifts: 24hr, 36hr & 48hr contracts available, night shifts 12hrs. Shift times 08.30pm – 08.30am you will need to ensure that the transport you are using operates for these shift times.

Pay Rate: £12.60 - £12.90 per hour

Training Location : Chestnut House, SA7 9LA. Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm

Sponsorship: This service does not provide support for visa sponsorship

Social Care Wales: You will have six months from starting the position to register for your SCW pin

Please ensure that you are able to transport to the place the following location before applying for the role. Public transport runs at limited times.

What’s involved as a Care Assistant

You’ll care for people with lots of different complex needs, such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health. Experience in working with Learning disabilities is essential for this role.

We take time to get to know people irrespective of ability or disability, we aim to empower individuals to be as involved as they can be in control of their life.

There is of course practical support too and helping people to reach their goals in smaller ways. You’ll provide personal care, maintain health needs, hygiene as well as keep things tidy and safe.
