Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust is recruiting for a Night Care Assistant on a part-time basis. The role includes helping residents with daily routines and personal care, while fostering a compassionate, respectful environment in our care homes.

Shifts run 19:15 to 07:15, with 12 hours per week and every other weekend. We provide induction training, ongoing development, and opportunities to grow within our expanding non-profit organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in care encouraged but not required.
• Induction training provided with ongoing development.
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, toilet use).
• Support residents to maintain dignity and independence.
• Contribute to a warm, caring atmosphere in our care homes.
