Job summary

Ailsa Lodge Care Home in Bishopton, Renfrewshire, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents across Residential, Dementia and Respite care. The role focuses on dignity, independence and wellbeing.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans and recognizing changes to ensure safe, responsive, and consistent care. Full training and ongoing development are provided to support your journey.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm and positive environment where residents feel valued.
