Job summary

Dale Care Ltd is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents at Hartlepool Extra Care during night shifts (8pm-7am and 9pm-8am). You’ll help people live independently, with meal prep, medication prompts, personal care, and companionship, delivered in a compassionate, respectful way.

We offer full paid training, guaranteed hours, and a friendly management team. With nationally recognised certificates and opportunities for progression, this role welcomes experienced and new carers alike.

Qualifications

• Kind, caring and compassionate individuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence, own car and business insurance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients in daily life: meal prep, medication prompts, domestic support.
• Assisting clients with personal care.
• Providing companionship and accompanying clients on outings.
• Encouraging client involvement in care planning and provision.
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately.
