Abbeyfield Living Society in Amersham is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for night shifts at Pratt House. You will work 8pm–8am, 36 hours per week, and deliver person-centred care to residents, supporting daily living activities with kindness and professionalism.

This role values compassion, integrity and excellence. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided; you will join a supportive team with opportunities for development and progression.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care reflecting Abbeyfield Living Society's values.
• Support residents with day-to-day personal care (washing, dressing, eating, drinking, mobility).
• Promote dignity, independence and choice for residents.
• Create a warm, welcoming environment and foster belonging within the home.
• Follow care plans accurately, maintain confidentiality, and raise concerns when needed.
