Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents in our care home. You will help with daily living, meals, mobility and companionship, following individual care plans to ensure comfort and dignity for every resident across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for older people.
• Strong communication and empathy to support residents.
• Willingness to undertake training provided by us.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks and mobility.
• Provide companionship and support following care plans.
• Help with meals, hydration, and medication reminders as directed.
• Offer one-to-one time to residents to enhance wellbeing.
