Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust is seeking Night Care Assistants for The Lakes care home in Cirencester. You will support residents with daily routines and personal care, in a friendly, homely setting as part of a dedicated team.

We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers, offering induction training, ongoing development, and a supportive environment where you can build a meaningful career in not-for-profit care across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships.
• Willingness to undertake induction training and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily routines and personal care.
• Support washing, bathing and toilet use.

Night Care Assistant

The Lakes is a 64 bed Care Home situated in South Cerney, Cirencester. The home offers Day, Respite, Residential and Dementia care in a comfortable, homely setting. We're rated 9.8 Carehome.co.uk and Good by the Care Quality Commission.

We're looking for you to work as a care assistant making a real difference to our residents lives every day. Along with supporting daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, supporting toilet use) we are looking for the right people to genuinely care for our residents and create a happy fulfilled life for them. Some days may be challenging but you will laugh, have fun and make lasting memories. You'll become part of our extended family too, bringing kindness, exceptional care and dignity to our care homes.

We're looking for both experienced carers and those that are new to care to build our teams with diverse people who can bring all sorts of life experience to the job. We provide induction training and support, with ongoing development opportunities for you to really build a career with us. You will be a great communicator and able to build relationships and positive working and living environments. We'd love you to love your job.
