Barchester Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents in our care home. You’ll assist with daily living, provide companionship, follow care plans and help create a warm, respectful environment for every resident.

You’ll need compassion, good communication, and experience caring for older people. We offer comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you grow in a rewarding role within a trusted organisation.

• Help residents with daily living activities such as grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Provide food and drink assistance and support with meals as per care plans.
• Deliver companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to prevent isolation.
• Ensure residents have one-to-one time and report changes to the care team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. To join us as a Care Assistant you’ll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you’ll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents.
