Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team in Luton, United Kingdom. As a Night Auditor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours, maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and overseeing financial accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome late-arriving guests and bid farewell to early departures, providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay
  • Perform daily reconciliation of the hotel's financial transactions, including checking and preparing reports, completing audits and collating necessary paperwork for departures
  • Manage and confirm reservation details and accounts for in-house guests, ensuring all information is recorded accurately
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, maximizing guest satisfaction while maintaining property safety and security
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns, ensuring total customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and distribute relevant reports to appropriate departments
  • Oversee the hotel's overnight operations, taking initiative to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

  • Flexibility to work night shifts (typically 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to handle cash and process credit card transactions accurately
  • Willingness to take ownership and initiative in various tasks as required
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Basic understanding of local laws and regulations related to the hospitality industry is preferred
