Overview

We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Night Assistant at Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport. Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is a 130 bedroom hotel established in 2020. Situated on the doorstep of Inverness Airport, we aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment throughout the bar/bistro, one meeting room and a gymnasium. Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, which is the operational arm of the Molo Hotel Group.

Responsibilities

• Guest Engagement: As a face of our hotel, you will greet each guest with a smile, anticipate their needs, and go above and beyond to exceed their expectations and make their stay memorable. From checking guests in to serving late night snacks, you will ensure each individual feels like royalty from the moment they come through the hotel doors.
• Collaboration: You\'ll collaborate closely with various departments, namely the food and beverage and day time reception teams. Providing a full update and handover to the day time team, you will allow for seamless guest experiences. Your excellent teamwork skills will foster a harmonious work environment, where everyone works together to create an exceptional stay for our guests.
• Compliance Standard: Taking onboard your share of security measures, you will support the night function by conducting necessary fire and safety checks, ensuring that our hotel provides a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable, but not essential as full on the job training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel management systems.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our hotel operates 24/7.
