Job summary

A UK healthcare provider is seeking a temporary Band 7 team lead physiotherapist for MSK outpatients to cover maternity leave within Midlothian for one year. The role includes supporting the physiotherapy service across outpatient clinics and managing both clinical duties and operational aspects. Ideal candidates should have experience in MSK physiotherapy and leadership skills, with support offered for those new to team lead roles.

We are excited to offer this temporary 1 WTE Band 7 team lead MSK outpatients physiotherapist to cover a maternity leave position within Midlothian for a period of 1 year.

This post will provide team lead support for the MSK physiotherapy service within Midlothian and will be based across outpatient clinics within community health centres and GP practices across the region. You will work closely with the clinical lead physiotherapist to manage and develop the established service. You will have a mix of clinical case load and operational responsibility.

This job would suit someone looking to improve their leadership and management skills with already proven clinical expertise within the MSK physiotherapy speciality and good understanding of the systems used within TRAK and EPR. Previous team lead experience would be beneficial but support will be given to those new to this role.
