What you will do
  • Drive across Cumbria and work across various settings to provide specialist assessment, management, and treatment to adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
  • Manage a specialist caseload of adults with diverse therapy needs in both acute and community settings.
  • Participate in and contribute to the development and delivery of training programmes and information packages for colleagues in health, as well as voluntary sector organisations, and family/carers.
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based specialised therapy interventions tailored for a defined adult caseload.
Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • A demonstrated history of experience within the NHS, working as a Speech and Language Therapist in the UK.
