Job summary

A leading NHS consulting firm is seeking an experienced Solution Architect in Greater London to lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design for critical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare technology and complex project management. Responsibilities include developing high-level designs, transforming environments, and collaborating with stakeholders. This contract role offers a daily rate for an initial 6-month period.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end architecture and solution design for complex projects.
  • Proficiency in software, hardware, storage, and supporting infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare sector and its unique technology requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-level and low-level designs (HLD / LLD) that align with business goals and technical standards.
  • Drive the transformation of the existing environment to a fully resilient architecture.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  • Design and support integration of the current ITAM platform with third-party systems.
  • Document architecture, configurations, and deployment plans, and participate in governance processes.
  • Work with vendors and third-party providers to procure and implement server and storage solutions.
