Job summary

NHS England Midlands is seeking a qualified accountant with NHS finance experience to join the Midlands Operational Finance Directorate. You will support financial planning and performance management across NHS organisations in the Midlands, while understanding NHS financial frameworks and managing priorities and deadlines.

You will provide strong financial analysis to support the senior finance team with financial recovery, planning, business cases, assurance and regulatory oversight,

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with finance experience in the NHS or related public healthcare organisation.
• Strong financial analysis skills to support senior finance activities.
• Experience leading finance teams and delivering financial planning, performance management and improvement.
