Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a domestic cleaner to provide a reliable cleaning service across the division, adhering to PLACE and CQC standards and following an agreed schedule. The role requires flexibility to cover throughout the year and previous cleaning or catering experience is desirable.

Experience with people and a good standard of communication are important. Training in COSHH and NHS colour coding is beneficial, and the trust values continuous improvement,

Qualifications

• GCSE or O level, or experience instead.
• Experience in cleaning or catering and dealing with people.
• Knowledge of NHS cleanliness standards and policies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning across the division meeting national standards.
• Follow policies, procedures and standards to deliver a high-quality service.
• Work to an agreed cleaning schedule.
• Complete cleaning documentation.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and cleaning agents are available.
