Job summary

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust in Salisbury is recruiting a dynamic, multi-skilled Security Officer to join the Security and Car Parking team. You will perform manned guarding, patrols and respond to alarms, ensuring staff, patients, visitors and property are safe and secure.

A strong customer service focus and good communication are essential as you’ll support other staff groups. The role requires 37.5 hours per week with shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, and may include

Qualifications

SIA Licence for Door Supervisor or similar experience.
GCSE or equivalent educational level.
Basic computer skills.
UK driving licence Cat B and awareness of data protection requirements (GDPR).

Responsibilities

Undertake an active operational role as part of the Responsive Security Service under the direction of the Car Park Security Team Leader.
Act as relief Car Park Security Team Leader as needed.
Respond to and investigate incidents where crime may be occurring on Trust property.
Maintain effective communication and ensure coordinated responses during incidents.
Record whereabouts to enable immediate contact in emergencies.
Work under Team Leader direction and use initiative to meet service needs.
Hold a valid UK driving licence; D1 licence is desirable.
