Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist for a locum role in Leeds. The position offers an hourly rate of £27 and is full-time, ongoing.

You will work within the Blood Transfusion laboratory, performing complex testing and ensuring quality control, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to support patient care. Applicants must be HCPC registered with a Biomedical Science qualification (or equivalent) and ideally have post-qualifying experience.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Post-qualifying experience in biomedical science is preferred.
• Equivalent qualification to Biomedical Science is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex testing and analysis within the Blood Transfusion laboratory.
