A leading IT service provider is looking for a support engineer to assist Managed Service customers. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, a background in networking (Cisco and Fortinet certifications), and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include managing incidents, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior staff, all while promoting service excellence. A varied role to provide support to our Managed Service customers, assist with escalations from the wider Service Desks and deliver projects onsite at customer locations throughout the UK.
You would be required to be flexible with working times to maintain core hours coverage for our customer base.
You would be expected to perform a variety of proactive tasks which will help maximize customer\'s uptime and prevent reoccurring issues. Tasks will include resolving proactive monitoring alerts, deploying the latest security updates, systems maintenance and upgrading customer systems.
