Job summary

A leading logistics provider is seeking a permanent, full-time Logistics Co-ordinator & Load Builder to join their team in Newport, Wales. The role involves planning UK road loads, managing urgent delivery requests, and maintaining strong communication with customers. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and ideally have some experience in logistics. Full training on SAP will be provided. This position offers a competitive salary of £27,000 – £31,000 per annum, with additional benefits including holiday allowance and a company pension.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a logistics role is ideal.
  • Good IT skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of UK geography and health & safety awareness is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Plan loads for all UK road movements.
  • Manage urgent delivery requests and resolve planning issues.
  • Provide detailed load information to customer services.
  • Maximise payloads through optimal load building.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Prepare documentation for efficient returns.
  • Ensure system data is accurate and updated.
  • Deputise for the Team Leader when necessary.
