A local healthcare provider in Greater London seeks a newly qualified GP to enhance patient care across seven practices. The ideal candidate will manage diverse health needs, undertake consultations, and develop care plans. Registration with the GMC and completion of training within the last two years are essential. This role offers a fixed-term contract until September 2026 with comprehensive support and collaboration opportunities.
South Fulham PCN has an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified GP to work with the seven practices within our thriving PCN.

As per NHSE guidance, this is a position for newly qualified GPs (within 2 years of CCT date), who have not previously held a substantive post, to work in the PCN on a fixed term contract until 30th September 2026. The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients.
We are keen to attract the right candidate, and will work with you to agree what works best for the practices, PCN, and appointed person we are therefore approaching recruitment with an open mind on the specifics of how the role will function, be it rotating across practices, running a special interest clinic or working alongside our e-hub team.
You will be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and hold a certificate of completion of training within two years. As per national guidance, this role is not open to General Medical Practitioners who are beyond the second anniversary of their certificate of completion of training.

In general, the post holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care, as set by Royal College of General Practitioners, General Medical council, all other Royal colleges and councils applicable to the staff within the practice, Department of Health, Clinical Commissioning Groups and all other regulatory and standard setting organisations.
