Main duties of the job

• Build on your existing skill set in a nurse-led environment, developing complex decision making and collaborative skills.
• Provide person-centred care for residents at vulnerable times, guiding them through life‑changing decisions.
• Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, supporting students as a practice supervisor and assessor.
• Demonstrate effective communication (verbal and written) and model professional behaviours.
• Advocate and deliver person‑centred care for residents and their families.
• Recognise and act on safeguarding concerns, reporting and escalating as necessary.
• Maintain a commitment to the NMC standards of practice and professional conduct.
