The role covers a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, advising life sciences, tech, higher education, healthcare and charity clients, with involvement in contracts, settlement

Qualifications

• Newly qualified solicitor with a strong interest in employment law.
• Commercially aware, proactive and eager to take responsibility early in their career.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships quickly.
• Confident legal researcher with a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
• Some exposure to employment aspects of transactions advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

The Team

• A nationally recognised Employment practice of 16 partners and over 80 solicitors across seven offices
• Highly collaborative, well-integrated team with strong cross-office support and expertise
• Oxford office in a significant growth phase, combining a dynamic “start-up feel” with national firm backing
• Close working relationships with partners and senior lawyers, ensuring excellent training and mentorship
