Newly qualified Corporate Lawyer – Suffolk. Our client are Legal 500 and Chambers recommended as one of East Anglia’s leading law firms. The firm offers a broad range of legal advice to individuals and companies in respect of a large range of legal services both nationally and internationally and are consistently ranked highly for providing excellent client service.

Experience and requirements

They now wish to recruit a newly or recently qualified Corporate Lawyer. Ideally, candidates should have had exposure to a broad range of commercial and corporate transactional work during their training and / or within their current role, including, in particular, experience dealing with:

  • M&A Transactions
  • Commercial contract drafting and negotiation
Responsibilities

The Corporate team carry out a high calibre of work and have been credited with being one of the best in the region. Working with both companies and individuals, the team act on a vast range of matters locally and nationally and pride themselves on building strong relationships.

  • Manage own caseload and assist others in the team
  • Manage own financial housekeeping
  • Conduct meetings with clients both face to face and remotely
  • Assess legal issues and advise accordingly / conduct legal research / advise on costs and scope of work
  • Draft documents and letters of advice
  • Keep up to date with law and practice
  • Have excellent communication and team skills
