Hayward Hawk is working in Partnership with a highly regarded Corporate Finance advisory firm with an exceptional track record across M&A, fundraising, and strategic advisory to source a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their scaling team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified professional who is keen to build a career in Corporate Finance. My client is considering candidates form a Corporate Finance OR Audit background.

The successful candidate will work alongside a high-calibre team on live transactions from day one, gaining hands-on experience across deal origination, financial modelling, valuations, and due diligence.

The Role
  • Support the execution of M&A, investment, and fundraising transactions.
  • Prepare financial models, valuations, and pitch materials for clients and investors.
  • Assist with due diligence and data analysis on target businesses.
  • Develop sector knowledge and contribute to market research and deal sourcing.
  • Work closely with senior team members on client delivery and business development.
The Candidate
  • Newly qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent), ideally trained within a Top 10 or mid-tier practice.
  • Strong analytical and Excel / financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach and genuine interest in corporate finance and transactions.
  • Prior exposure to financial due diligence, audit of SME or corporate clients, or transactional work would be advantageous.
