Job summary

The Portland Hospital for Women & Children in London is seeking a Nursery Nurse to join the maternity service. You will work alongside midwives to provide high-quality newborn care on the postnatal ward and support families during early parenthood.

Qualifications

• NNEB, Btec Diploma in Nursery Nursing or Level 3 NVQ equivalent.
• Maternity support worker or nursery nurse experience in a hospital maternity unit (essential).
• Basic Adult and Newborn Life Support.
• Understanding of safeguarding issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality newborn care on the postnatal ward and support babies and families.
• Collaborate with midwives and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, family-centred care.
