Job summary

D R Newitt Recruitment's client in Kent is seeking a Senior NPD & Innovation Manager to own the NPD function, leading projects from concept to launch with a focus on sports nutrition and wellness.

Hybrid role in Kent offering £60,000–£65,000 DOE plus Bonus, Healthcare and excellent benefits. Opportunity to build an NPD team and progress to Head of Innovation as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports nutrition, supplements, functional foods or health and wellness products.
• Proven NPD, formulation or technical product development experience.
• Commercially minded with excellent customer relationship skills.
• Passionate about innovation and bringing market-leading products to life.

• Lead customer NPD projects from concept to commercial launch.
• Develop innovative Health and Wellness supplements
• Work directly with leading supplement brands, advising on formulations, ingredients, flavours and product concepts.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Commercial and Operations to deliver projects successfully.
• Drive innovation, identify emerging trends and help shape future product categories.

Working with multiple leading Supplements brands, you'll have the autonomy to manage projects from concept through to commercial launch, influence innovation strategy, and build long-term customer partnerships.

What You'll Do
