Job summary

A leading international household products company is seeking a Customer Service Operations Support specialist to assist with day-to-day operations. This hybrid role requires excellent organizational and analytical skills, along with proficiency in customer service and SAP. The successful applicant will manage customer relationships, ensure data accuracy, and provide administrative support to the Order Management team. Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations of the customer service team.

Your New Job Title:Customer Service Operations Support

The Skills You'll Need: Customer Service, SAP, Advanced Excel, Analytical skills, Order Processing

Your New Salary: £12.64 - £19.84 per hour (Equivalent of £24 - £38K pa)

Location: Newcastle

Duration: Long-term temporary assignment until 04/12/2026

Job status: Hybrid, 2 days a week in office

Working hours: 37.5 h p/w, Mon-Fri (8am-4pm / 8.30am-4.30pm / 9am - 5pm)

Who You'll Be Working for: An international leader in household products.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supporting day-to-day operations of the customer service team, coordinating assignments, and maintaining high service quality.
  • Providing administrative support to Order Management team.
  • Resolving issues relating to order receipt through to delivery for both Customers and Sales.
  • Acting as a key point of contact both internally and externally.
  • Liaising internally with other stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining excellent external customer relationships with some of our longest standing retail partners.
  • Developing and building understanding of robotic order management processes, including executing and monitoring robotic processes to meet business needs.
  • Using SAP to manage customer data, track orders, update service requests, and order processing.
  • Verifying data accuracy and ensuring all transactions are recorded properly within the system.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and data protection regulations.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Previous Customer Service Operations experience.
  • Proficient in MS office including Excel and Outlook.
  • Order processing experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Acute attention to detail is essential.
  • SAP knowledge would be advantageous, although training will be provided.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Possess excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work to required timings and deadlines and respond to urgent issues as needed.
