About the Role
My client is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant to join their team for an exciting new development launch. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand new site from day one, working with a respected private developer committed to delivering exceptional new homes.
As a key member of our sales team, you'll play a vital role in helping customers find their dream home whilst contributing to the success of this prestigious new development.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome prospective buyers and conduct professional viewings of our show home, available plots, and development
- Build rapport with customers and understand their needs to match them with the perfect property
- Generate and follow up on leads through proactive marketing activities and excellent customer service
- Guide buyers through the sales process, liaising with solicitors, mortgage advisers, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress using our CRM system
- Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall site performance
- Ensure the show home and sales area are presented immaculately at all times
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Senior Sales Consultant/Sales Manager
- Stay informed about local market conditions, competitor developments, and industry trends
- Ensure compliance with the Consumer Code for Home Builders and company procedures
About You
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in residential property sales (new homes experience preferred but not essential)
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of the home buying process and mortgage products
- Customer-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional, well-presented, and personable
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competent with IT systems, CRM databases, and Microsoft Office
- Experience of new development launches
- Knowledge of construction terminology and specifications
