TSR Legal have been instructed by a leading Top 200 full-service law firm with offices across the region, who are seeking an experienced Solicitor to head their highly regarded Personal Injury department.

The firm has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality legal services and outstanding client care. Their success is driven by a team of dedicated specialists who are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

As Head of Personal Injury, you will play a senior role with the Partner in the continued growth and development of the department across the country. You will manage and develop a team of specialist fee earners while handling a caseload of complex and high-value matters, including catastrophic brain and spinal injuries, serious orthopaedic injuries, and fatal accident claims.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to lead a well-established team within a respected and expanding regional firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Personal Injury team, ensuring the delivery of excellent client service and results.
• Handle a caseload of complex and high-value personal injury matters from instruction through to resolution.
• Provide expert guidance on catastrophic and serious injury claims, including brain, spinal, and fatal injury cases.
• Oversee team performance, mentor junior fee earners, and contribute to the department’s strategic direction.
• Collaborate with other regional offices to support firm-wide initiatives and cross-departmental projects.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships and enhance the firm’s reputation within the personal injury sector.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 7 years’ PQE in personal injury law.
• Proven experience handling serious and complex injury claims.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client care skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Commercially aware with a strategic mindset and a focus on growth.
• Suitable for a Senior Associate seeking progression or a Legal Director/Partner seeking a new leadership challenge.
