Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking a Graduate Nurse Resident who has completed an accredited nursing program and is pursuing licensure. The role supports RN staff and expects licensure within six months, with potential transition to a nurse residency cohort after licensure.
The position involves direct patient care under RN supervision, routine vital signs, and education of patients and families.
A former nursing student who has completed an accredited nursing program and is pending nursing
licensure. All individuals hired into this position are expected to obtain nursing licensure within six (6)
months of hire and transition into a new graduate nurse resident position, as available, for the next
available nurse residency cohort after licensure. If a Graduate Nurse does not obtain nursing licensure
within six (6) months of hire, an extension of employment in this position requires the approval of the hospital CNO.
Works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) except as noted in addendum.
