Job description

Our client, one of the Channel Islands' leading accounting, tax and advisory firms, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented New Business Administrator to join their pan-island new business onboarding team. This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional client onboarding services while ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various service lines to create a seamless onboarding experience.

Job Duties
  • Manage the entire client take-on process, including overseeing local and international conflicts.
  • Undertake initial risk assessments for new clients.
  • Ensure completion of all necessary take-on checks, including Worldcheck, internet searches, and sanctions checks.
  • Collect and review client take-on documentation.
  • Complete and maintain accurate onboarding data.
  • Assemble the client take-on pack for sign-off and submission to Risk & Compliance for final approval.
  • Liaise with service lines throughout the take-on process, managing client expectations, and expediting procedures.
  • Provide practical, effective, and business-focused advice to Directors and service lines regarding client take-on queries.
  • Escalate any client take-on issues to the New Business Manager as they arise.
