Job summary

Netholabs is seeking a Neuroscientist to join our Brighton research team as an independent contributor. You will design and run in vivo electrophysiology and behavioural experiments, work with large-scale neural and behavioural datasets, and partner closely with our ML team to translate findings into better foundation models.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in neuroscience or related field with hands-on research experience.
• PhD and in vivo electrophysiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and run in vivo electrophysiology experiments in animal models.
• Develop and refine neural recording protocols and rigs with hardware team.
• Ensure recordings meet quality standards used for model training.
• Design behavioural paradigms to generate rich datasets.
• Plan and oversee data collection with technicians; iterate designs.
