Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Salford is seeking an experienced neuro specialist orthoptist to join the Neurosciences and Trauma Group, providing specialist visual impairment assessment and treatment within in-patient and out-patient settings.
The role involves planning orthoptic treatment plans, managing referrals, supporting service delivery, and contributing to audits and research within a multidisciplinary team.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated neuro specialist orthoptist to join our expanding Neurosciences and Trauma service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care to patients with complex neurological disorders. As a key member of the neurosciences team you will work closely with a wide range of professionals across a range of in-patient and out-patient settings to deliver integrated patient‑centred care.
This role will see you working at the heart of our stroke, neuro‑rehab and major trauma pathways, assessing and managing patients with a range of visual impairments. As a research active department there will be opportunities to participate and lead in research and help us innovate future care delivery.
