Job summary

East of England Community Health And Care NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join the ND Diagnostic Team in Cambridgeshire. You will assess and support children with neurodevelopmental conditions as part of a multidisciplinary team, leading on diagnostic assessments and contributing to service development.

The post involves delivering feedback to families, compiling high-quality reports, and shaping care pathways with colleagues across CAMHS and community services.

Qualifications

• Registration with NMC or HCPC is essential
• Specialist short courses including ADOS training are essential

Responsibilities

• Lead on ASD/ADHD diagnostic pathways and assessments.
• Gather and analyse information from families, education and other professionals.
• Deliver feedback to families following MDT assessments.
• Produce high-quality written reports and care plans.
• Contribute to development and review of care pathways, audits and waiting list initiatives.
• Collaborate with MDT and community services to improve autism and neurodevelopmental pathways.
