Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust (Cambridge) is seeking a Band 7 Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join the Cambridgeshire ND diagnostic team. You will lead diagnostic assessments, collaborate with Community Paediatricians, specialist nurses, speech and language therapists, and other professionals to improve outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Registration with NMC or HCPC is essential.
• Experience in ASD/ADHD assessments and neurodevelopmental pathways is required.
• Specialist short courses including ADOS training are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and undertake neurodevelopmental assessments and observations.
• Gather information from families, education, and other professionals for diagnosis.
• Deliver feedback to families following MDT assessments.
• Produce high-quality reports and care plans for complex cases.
• Support service development, audits, and waiting-list initiatives.
• Work within MDT to ensure effective care pathways and collaborative practice.
