Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced radiographer to join our Neuro Radiology team at Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role offers rotation across MR, CT and interventional neuroradiology with training and development in a tertiary teaching hospital.

You should have a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, HCPC registration and a CPD portfolio. The post involves a seven‑day rota, on‑call requirements and leadership responsibilities

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent with HCPC registration.
• Current CPD portfolio demonstrating ongoing professional development.
• Experience in MRI/CT/interventional radiography desirable.
• NHS experience in the UK is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images across MR/CT and interventional neuroradiology.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection in the imaging suite.
• Supervise junior staff and radiography students as required.
• Participate in a seven-day rota and on-call service across sites.
